Tenecteplase (TNKase®)

The ideal option for Canadian patients is to have continued availability of tenecteplase. ISMP Canada is committed to supporting any steps that can be taken to help ensure availability of tenecteplase.

If tenecteplase is not available, the necessity of using an alternative medication and protocol introduces complexity. The following documents are shared to proactively prepare for a possible drug shortage.
